A Step-by-Step Process of Alignment for Purposeful Living

How fulfilled are you? Are you ready for full alignment?  40 Days to Power Living® is a mindfulness-based system of personal transformation and wellbeing that will deepen your practice of living on purpose, lay the groundwork for fundamental wellbeing, and align your life spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally, and environmentally. During the program, you will ENVISION, ALIGN and EMBODY the most powerful version of yourself, so you interrupt autopilot, feel genuine joy and fulfillment, AND have a toolkit to support a sustainable daily practice of mindful and purposeful living. As part of the process, you will develop a Reflective Practice to build self-awareness and strengthen your intuitive wisdom, and practice mindfulness techniques to be present and hone the skill of “noticing” your own habits. You will learn about self-care and conscious living so you are more informed to make small tweeks to how you think, eat, sleep, and show up in the world.  At the end of the course, you will be equipped to step into your full power with a daily practice of Power Living and a personal action plan for ongoing alignment and growth. 

OVERVIEW 

We'll start with an overview of the Five Principles of Power Living® and core concepts.  You'll go through a Taking Stock process to determine your starting point and goals for the program, as well as establish the daily Reflective Practice.

MODULE 1: LIVE ON PURPOSE

In this module, you'll tap into your Highest Self through visualization and delve deeper into your own values, beliefs, and gifts. We'll hone in on your Motivating Why and align your spiritual energy to be fully Present and on Purpose.

MODULE 2: TUNE YOUR MIND TO THE POSITIVE

In this module, you'll check your thoughts and language, as well as address any limiting beliefs and mental blocks. You'll practice a mindfulness meditation and learn how to focus your mental energy on the good to spur inspiration and positive manifestation.

MODULE 3: HONOR YOUR BODY

In this module, you'll practice a meditation to tune into the body's wisdom and learn more about the mind-body connection. You'll also learn the fundamentals of maximizing your physical energy for peak performance and optimum health, from food, exercise and sleep to foundation breath techniques. You'll also learn the 7 Rules of Power Eating.

MODULE 4: BE A HUMBLE WARRIOR

In this module, you'll do a meditation to train your compassion "muscle" and practice leading with your heart.  The lessons focus on how to engage your emotional energy to cultivate an attitude of gratitude and build intimate connections, steady joy, and strong faith in your path.  You'll also learn the Four Stages of Change and strategies to address each stage. 

MODULE 5: SANCTIFY YOUR SURROUNDINGS

In this module, you'll practice a meditation focused "meta-awareness." You will define your "essentials" and explore the concepts of simplicity and specificity. This process will help you learn what is enough and how to detoxify your environmental energy to sustain your flow and support your vision. This has to do with everything in your physical environment, including your space, people, and finances.

MODULE 6: INTEGRATION

In our final module, you'll revisit the Highest Self visualization to integrate your insights. You will also re-assess where you are, plan for the future, and claim your victory. At this point, you'll have a solid foundation for Power Living and a personal action plan for ongoing alignment and growth. If you've done the Reality Check exercises every day, you will also have a Power Book outlining your vision, core values, power foods, key affirmations, and so much more!
We started teaching Power Living classes and offering branded talks and workshops at conferences in 2002. By 2006, we launched a more comprehensive program based on Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy's book, 40 Days to Power Living: Think, Eat & Live on Purpose. Since then, we've guided thousands of people from all walks of life through this program via in-person coaching and workshops. Now, the program is fully digital with video-based lessons, downloadable workbooks, mindfulness practices, and an online community. This is an accelerated program giving you the framework and tools to make small changes every day throughout the program. Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy, Ph.D., MBA, RYT, CPC

Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy is redefining how to succeed at work and thrive in life. She is the creator of the Embodied Success® Coaching System and the IAmPowerLiving.com empowerment platform. For over 20 years, she has been training people around the world in her "whole-person" approach to wellness, empowerment, and success -- tapping into her unique multi-disciplinary background and real-world experience. A Harvard Business School-trained strategist, former VP at MTV Networks, and founder of VH1 Online and VH1@Work Radio at the beginning of the commercial Internet, she is an innovator who understands the journey of the high-performing professional and has personally experienced it all... from success to near death to full-system transformation. After almost dying in 1997, she left her corporate career and founded the first yoga studio in Harlem. She has since led hundreds of mindfulness-based programs for organizations and events, including her signature Embodied Success® and Power Living® experiences, while also advising companies on digital strategy. She served six years on the Board of Yoga Alliance (inc. Chair and Interim CEO), and was one of the first African Americans featured on the cover of Yoga Journal. This program can be offered in various formats: Opening (15 minutes of interactive breath, movement, and motivation to set the tone for an event; a "Dose of Power Living"); Keynote (30 to 60 minutes to provide an overview as outlined above); Workshop (90 minutes in-person or virtual with a deeper dive into the fundamentals of mindfulness for self-optimization, or a specific topic like Stress or Success?
