With degrees in Design and Sociology from Wellesley College, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a Ph.D. in World Religions (and a variety of other advanced studies), I have experience in the creative, business and spiritual worlds. I've coached over 2,500 client-hours and have insights from my own personal transformation--from almost dying to vibrant health AND from corporate executive to entrepreneur. With over 1,000 hours of Teacher Training in yoga and meditation, I've also been pioneering the integration of energy management, neuroscience, and mindfulness tools into our signature Power Living®, Embodied Success® and Blissful Vibrations® programs for over 20 years. I focus on the whole person using proven techniques, helping you upgrade your mindset and self-mastery skillset.

Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy, Ph.D., MBA, RYT, CPC

What do you get when you cross a Harvard MBA, Tech Intrapreneur, Master Coach, and Mind-Body Expert? Quite a bit of Yin-Yang! Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy is redefining how to succeed at work and thrive in life. For over 20 years, she has been training people around the world in her "whole-person" approach to wellness, leadership, and success, tapping into her unique multi-disciplinary background and real-world experience. A former Vice President at MTV Networks and founder of VH1 Online and VH1@Work Radio at the beginning of the commercial Internet, she is an innovator who understands the journey of the high-performing professional and has personally experienced it all... from success to near death to exponential transformation. After almost dying in 1997, she left her corporate career and founded the first yoga studio in Harlem. She has since led hundreds of mindfulness-based programs for organizations and events around the world while consulting with companies on digital strategy. She served six years on the Board of Yoga Alliance (including Chair and Interim CEO), and was one of the first African Americans featured on the cover of Yoga Journal. Ready to make YOU a priority?

If you are ready to make YOU a priority, then get started today. Change takes time, so a minimum of one month is recommended and an initial six-month commitment is encouraged. You can extend services for as long as you need. Many people continue for two years or more to keep taking things to the next level. Others seek short-term, focused coaching for a particular issue or help in achieving a specific goal, such as clarifying your career, completing a project, or making an important life decision. It's all up to you! Here's the process: 
  • Initial Consultation: Fill out an Assessment and then let's talk about your objectives to determine how I can best support you (e.g., coaching, consulting, mentoring). Our work will be customized to your needs.

  • Determine Schedule: Once you sign up, we will send you an Agreement and schedule your sessions. We usually try and stick to the same day/time each session.

  • Outline Goals: In the first session, we will discuss your goals and determine an initial action plan.

  • Energy Management Training: Given my mind-body training, I will guide you through techniques to master your mood and mind-states, optimize your energy, and build resilience. This will be helpful regardless of your goals.

  • Ongoing Support & Review: We will work through roadblocks together and when you complete specific goals, we will debrief and celebrate.
